Yes everyone takes lunch to school - and there are all varieties of receipes -- sometimes you share with your friends and eat the best food (mostly if its sweet or non-veg)
So what's ideal school lunch to be provided to childrean ? The answer is difficult because you have to basically fulfill two things :
* Child eats the food
* The food has got enough calories.
To make sure that the child eat food he/she has to be provided with tasty food - otherwise the child won't eat it up or the worst ones would probably throw it. Also how would you make sure that your child lunch isn't eaten away by his/her roudy friends (leaving your child with empty stomach -- as its survival of the fittest at school -- as soon as the child opens lunch box and its taken away by the stronger candidates) - you child has to be constantly told that food his very important for him/her (see reminding things is very important -- today or tomorrow or some day he/she is going to understand you)
So what sort of lunch you child takes to school ?
Sandwitch, chappatti with vegetables, (sometimes at canteen ), non-veg (fish, meat, turkey)
Its recommended not to repeat the lunch receipe -- try to give options to your child. You might repeat the lunch every alternate or three days!!
