Its already known that watching too much television for kids is not good - similarly all the disadvantages of watching videogames will add up to this list.

Currently with the advent of digital world - there is a easy access for video games for kids  / child. You can find video games everywhere.

* Computers - video games available in cds and dvd's
* Computers - embedded within dvd player and Television sets
* Internet - a child has easy access to games with no restrictions.
* Mobile phones
* If you restrict the child to play games at home - they will go out and  play it at their friends place or in a cyber cafe.

You must what will happen next :
* The child will be less prone to play outdoor games and hence will be more likely to be obessed  (following play and eat scenario)
* The child becomes less social - less number of friends - less understand of real world
* The child tends to be negative in nature if he/she is more prone to war games. He tends to be more violent.
* Addiction - its the worst thing which can happen to a child - that's addition of playing game.
* It also have adverse effect on childs brain. (
* The child tries to imitate the things in video games - in reality. For example: he might want to race his bike or car - and would also want to match the speed as shown in the video games statistics.
* Yes - there are some adult games available - if the child gets access to such adult games then he might misunderstand things and the outcome would be negative.
* Inactive - yes the child gets inactive and lazy.
* Studies - yes video games spoils studies (academic performance) - the kid will definately fall behind studies and all.
* Eyes - yes offcourse he/she will get glasses as you are exposing you child to radiation.
* Disease - yes such inactive kid is likely to get diseases
* Sunshine - yes sunshine is required - its the source of vitamin e. Also fresh air , sunshine and such natural elements are required for a healthy child.

There are numerous studies done all over the world to  support the above points.  Also most of the video games are violent in nature.
