video games in primary education
Video games are generally ignored by educators and video games builders for childrens. Althought there are few games available in the market - not still not widely used. (Although for seniors like army or racers [driving] - some simulation games are already in practice)
This may be because there are lots of negative things as compared to positive things in a video game.
Some of the games can actually be used by educators i guess :
* Typing tutor killing games - Here child is required to type a word (based on this level) otherwise the word will fail (Something like tetris i guess)
* Chess - yes chess is good for brains thats for sure (Althought it should not be made a habit)
* Business or strategy games (related to shares and stocks or buy/sell) at intermediate levels
* Simulation games are mostly good (whether its racing, flying an aeroplane or trying out ship simulation)
* A B C D Games (yes - some abcd games might be good for very young kid to identify an object like animal, plant etc etc)
* Number games (few number games are also great for a kid)
